McLeod Golf Club
To all Members and Fellows
On behalf of The Board thank you for putting up with the playing conditions at the moment. I know it has been difficult with the sewerage works on the 7th adding to the upheaval caused the by the fairway watering installations and the damage caused by the floods.
In addition to this we have been 1 staff member down for 3 months and another for the last month.
Please continue to bear with us as in the next week or so they will be starting the retro fit of the electrical wiring on the greens and fairways on the front nine. This should not be as evasive as the current works.
The Board realizes it is painful playing at the moment but he the irrigation upgrade is something we have been trying to do for seven years and when finished it will ensure we can provide a quality course year round. “ Short term pain for long term gain.”

McLeod's free golf expo
Mt Ommaney’s McLeod Country Golf Club is holding a free golf expo on Sunday, June 19 from 9.30am to 2.30pm for members of the public and golfing enthusiast’s.
The golf expo will include a putting clinic, a driver demonstration by PGA professionals, a short game clinic, fashion parade, nearest to the pin competition, demonstrations by leading golfing suppliers, lucky door prize, information stands and kits and much more.
Food and drinks will also be available for purchase on the day.

McLeod Golf Club " working with and understanding the people you work with"
One of the biggest challenges in relationships is the unconditional acceptance of another person’s beliefs, attitudes and behavior. Having had a number of relationships with a variety of people: friends, employees, clients, children, supervisors, suppliers and audience members I can tell you from vast first hand experience that some people are easy to accept while others can bring us over the top of the emotional barometer when it comes to stress, anger and their ability to push our buttons. What is unconditional acceptance? I am not referring to what John Powell discusses in his great book, Unconditional Love. It is simply the willingness and ability to understand that just because someone is different, has opposing views or has behavior we disapprove of - to realize that they are not right or wrong. They are just being who they are as a result of their unique life.
