Inaugural Golf Expo a huge success

More than 500 people flocked to McLeod Country Golf Club’s inaugural Golf Expo last Sunday (June 19) at Mt Ommaney to enjoy the festivities on offer.

Councilor for Jamboree Ward, Matthew Bourke was joined by members of the community, golfing enthusiasts and golfing identities on the day.

The expo included a putting clinic, driver demonstrations by PGA professionals and suppliers, clinics, fashion parades, competitions and fun activities for the kids.

McLeod Country Golf Club president Di Paez was delighted by the generous support shown by the greater community.

“We are pleased by the amount of support we received from the community, our members and golfing enthusiasts,” she said.

“Being the club’s inaugural expo, we are thrilled to say the event was a huge success and there was such a buzz and great energy surrounding the day.”
